Trekking in Fann mountains. Tajikistan

We invite you to visit unique mountain region of the Central Asia of Republic Tajikistan where also gives you possibility to make fascinating travel in world of famous places of tourism and mountaineering. If you glance in the geographical atlas you will find in the Southeast of the Central Asia the Republic Tajikistan adjoining with Afghanistan, China, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. This unique area where outstanding monuments of history and culture where are combined, ancient traditions of the East with a modern civilization where surprising rules of hospitality of the Tadjik people with its ancient customs have remained, and also the nature are located has generously awarded with special beauty this mountain region.

Itinerary

Day 1. Flight from Moscow to Dushanbe-the capital of Tajikistan Republic. Drive for about 6 hours crossing Ansob pass (3370 m) to tourist base «Artuch». On the route you can examine the mausoleum of founder of the Tajik-Persian classical literature, Abuabdullo Rudaki and sight of the city of Pendzhikent.
Base located in heart of Fann Mountains at altitude of 2200 meters. Accommodation in cabins, two people in room. Base has restaurant, sauna.

Day 2. Acclimatization trekking on lake Chukurak (2455).

Day 3. Start of trekking. First to Kulikalon lakes (2800). Then continue trek to Lake Dushaha (3050 m). You can see on the way magnificent view on 5000 meters peaks. Overnight in tents.
Camping gear, personal equipment are transporting by asses with local teamsters.

Day 4. Cross the pass Allaudin (3680 m). Overnight in tents on the bank of lake Allaudin (2780 m).

Day 5. Trekking to Mutnoe Lake (3540 m). Overnight in tents.

Day 6. Radial trek to Chimtarga pass (4700 m). Return to the camp.

Day 7. Trekking back to Allaudin Lake ( 2780 m). Overnight in tents.

Day 8. Trek crossing Laudan pass (3630 m) to Kulikalon Lake. Overnight in tents.

Day 9. Trek down to the Artuch base. Accommodation in cabins. Sauna. Farewell dinner.

Day 10. Drive for about 7 hours to Tadjik town Hudzand. Hotel accommodation. Dinner in restaurant on the bank of Sirdaria river.

Day 11. Hudzand sightseeing. Sheih Muslihiddin comlex. Visit east local market “Panchshanbe”. Hotel accommodation.

Day 12. Flight to Moskow.
